We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and professional Senior Front Desk & Member Services Coordinator to become a key part of our leadership team.
This is more than a front desk position. We are seeking someone who can help lead the member experience, support staff, solve problems independently, and ensure our clubs operate smoothly every day.
Position Summary
As our Senior Front Desk & Member Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the member experience from the moment someone walks through our doors. You will assist with front desk operations, membership administration, customer service, staff coordination, and member retention initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, confident communicating with members, and comfortable handling difficult situations with professionalism and empathy.
Key ResponsibilitiesMember Experience
- Deliver outstanding customer service to members and guests.
- Resolve member concerns, complaints, and billing inquiries.
- Build positive relationships with members and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Conduct club tours for prospective members when required.
- Support membership retention initiatives.
Front Desk Leadership
- Assist with training and mentoring front desk team members.
- Help maintain front desk standards, procedures, and accountability.
- Ensure shifts are properly covered and communicate staffing concerns.
- Act as a senior point of contact when management is unavailable.
Administrative Duties
- Process memberships, cancellations, freezes, and account changes.
- Maintain accurate member records and documentation.
- Assist with daily reports, cash reconciliation, and administrative tasks.
- Coordinate communication between departments.
Sales & Growth
- Follow up with membership leads and inquiries.
- Support club promotions, events, and marketing initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve member satisfaction and retention.
Facility Support
- Monitor club cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Help ensure a safe and positive environment for members and staff.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of customer service experience.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership, supervisory, or senior front desk experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using computer systems, email, and scheduling software.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
Preferred
- Experience in a fitness club, recreation facility, hospitality, or service-based business.
- Membership sales experience.
- Experience with gym management software and CRM systems.

Expected Compensation: $22–$30+ per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
