Outside Sales – Agriculture
Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley, BC
We are looking for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow our agricultural business across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. This role is built on prospecting new customers, developing current relationships and project-based agricultural sales.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, sales-driven professional who wants a performance-based compensation structure and the opportunity to build long-term producer relationships. You are comfortable working independently, managing a pipeline, and selling value-based agricultural solutions.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and execute strategic territory plans to grow market share across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
- Operate as a Business Manager responsible for revenue, gross margin, and pipeline performance.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new agricultural customers while expanding existing producer relationships.
- Conduct on-farm site visits, assessments, and consultative sales conversations.
- Guide customers through irrigation and pumping system solutions including drip, center pivot, hose reel, and integrated systems.
- Understand relevant regulatory, permitting, and funding processes impacting agricultural irrigation projects.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals, quotations, and project recommendations.
- Negotiate sales agreements that support both customer value and company profitability.
- Maintain a structured weekly activity and territory coverage plan.
- Collaborate closely with internal design, project, service, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support customers during installation and commissioning to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationship success.
- Attend industry trade shows, producer meetings, and agricultural events to generate new opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
- This position is aligned with Delta’s performance-based compensation model, including base salary plus uncapped, gross-margin-based commission.
- This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager and works closely with branch leadership for operational support.
- This is a field-based role that requires regular travel throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.
Education and Experience:
- Preferred: 2+ years of B2B or agricultural sales experience
- Experience managing a sales territory and pipeline is an asset
- Strong understanding of irrigation, agriculture, construction, or technical sales is preferred
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory

Pay: $70,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
