About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Live-Out Superintendent/Maintenance Technician to join the team at our new constructed 170 units premier residential property. This is an excellent opportunity for a service-driven individual who takes pride in maintaining a high standard of property care and delivering exceptional resident experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Perform, coordinate and assist with maintenance repairs
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and building management to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Respond promptly and courteously to resident service requests
- Oversee waste management, recycling, and building organization
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Perform minor maintenance services in-suite and common areas
- Assist with residents move in and move out
On-Call Responsibilities
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
- Respond promptly and professionally to urgent issues (e.g., water leaks, equipment failures, safety concerns)
- Coordinate emergency services and communicate effectively with residents and management during critical situations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a superintendent in residential property maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Professional demeanor with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with management
- Dependable, flexible, and responsive to on-call requirements
- Relevant certifications (WHMIS, First Aid, etc.) are considered an asset
