At Stonemont Retirement Lifestyle, we are committed to creating an exceptional experience for our residents through outstanding hospitality, service, and care. We are currently seeking a dependable and resident-focused Driver / Transportation Associate to join our team.
This position plays an important role in supporting resident independence and quality of life by providing safe transportation to appointments, shopping trips, community outings, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents using an 8-passenger community van.
- Operate a wheelchair lift and safely secure mobility devices.
- Assist residents on and off the vehicle in a respectful and supportive manner.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
- Support resident outings and special events.
- Maintain transportation logs and related documentation.
- Promote a safe, welcoming, and resident-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 4 Driver's License preferred.
- Candidates with a Class 4 License and Restriction 16 are encouraged to apply.
- Clean Driver's Abstract.
- Current Criminal Record Check.
- Experience working with seniors is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to assist residents with mobility needs safely and respectfully.
- Dependable, patient, and professional.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
