Regional Sales Manager
A well-established and growing food manufacturing company is conducting a confidential search for a Regional Sales Manager. This is a field-facing, relationship-driven role responsible for driving territory revenue growth, managing and expanding a regional account base, and serving as a key point of contact for customers within an assigned geography. The Regional Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to execute company-wide strategies at the regional level.

Core Responsibilities
Territory & Account Management
- Execute regional sales plans and account strategies that are aligned with the company's broader commercial objectives and growth targets
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of accounts, building strong and trusted relationships with key buyers, category managers, and decision makers across the region
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory through prospecting, cold outreach, referrals, and industry networking
- Ensure that all sales activity, call reports, account updates, and pipeline data are accurately logged and maintained in the company's CRM system on a timely basis
- Prepare and submit regular territory forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing
Collaboration & Market Intelligence
- Work closely with the marketing team to support the execution of regional promotional campaigns, trade show participation, and customer-facing initiatives
- Support the preparation of customer contracts, pricing proposals, and NDAs for review and approval by senior leadership
- Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback on an ongoing basis, and report relevant insights to the leadership team in a timely and organized manner
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations and customer service to ensure that customer expectations are met and that any issues are resolved quickly and professionally
What We're Looking For
- 5 or more years of field sales or regional account management experience, ideally within food manufacturing or a closely related industry
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a territory or account base over time
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect authentically with customers at all levels
- Solid negotiation skills and a commercial mindset that balances customer needs with company objectives
- Proficiency with CRM tools and a disciplined approach to pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting
- Self-directed, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while remaining an engaged and collaborative member of the broader team
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
