Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in driving daily store operations, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and supporting the achievement of sales and business objectives. This hands-on position involves leading and developing a high-performing retail team while maintaining the highest standards of product presentation, inventory accuracy, and operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of the store leadership team, the Retail Supervisor serves as a role model for exceptional customer service and team collaboration, contributing directly to the overall success and growth of the retail operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on leadership by supervising, mentoring, and coaching retail team members to ensure consistent performance and outstanding customer service.
- Train, develop, and evaluate new and existing staff on store procedures, product knowledge, and service standards.
- Effectively manage daily operations, including task assignment, shift scheduling, and team coordination to optimize store performance.
- Drive sales performance by actively promoting products, seasonal offerings, and promotional initiatives.
- Deliver superior customer service and professionally resolve customer concerns and complaints.
- Oversee inventory management, stock rotation, replenishment, and accuracy.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and perform end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Maintain impeccable store standards for cleanliness, visual merchandising, food safety, and sanitation.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and food safety standards.
- Support digital initiatives including social media content and e-commerce activities.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate store records.
- Perform additional duties as required to support overall retail success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in a retail supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling is required.
- Familiarity with social media and online retail platforms is a strong asset.

Physical & Working Conditions
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks including bending, crouching, and handling inventory. Work will be performed in a fast-paced retail environment that may include cold and wet conditions, particularly in seafood handling areas. Strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols is essential.
