Job Description: We are seeking an Industrial Medic with either an Advanced First Aid (AFA) or Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA3) certificate for a wind energy project based in Windsor, Nova Scotia. The ideal candidate must be local to Nova Scotia and have at least 1 year of experience as an industrial medic.
Key Responsibilities:

You will be accountable and responsible for assessment and treatment of on-site personnel and to advise and/or transport to a medical facility if required.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate medical records.

Assist in health and safety training sessions.

Participation in safety meetings and daily reporting is expected.
Required Qualifications:

Advanced First Aid (AFA) or Occupational First Aid Level 3 (OFA3) certificate.

Current Drug and Alcohol clearance

Minimum 1 year of experience as an industrial medic.

Current tickets: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, TDG, WHMIS, ESC- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Must have your own vehicle for commuting to and from the worksite

Valid Class 4 or Class 5 drivers’ license

A current Drivers Abstract

Off highway vehicle certificate/training is an asset
Shift Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, with long weekends off.
Compensation: $21.50 to $22.50 per hour and a $50 per diem, with mileage reimbursement at 62 cents per kilometer.
