Responsibilities
- Assist with daily site safety inspections
- Participate in hazard assessments and field-level risk assessments
- Support site orientations and safety meetings
- Monitor compliance with company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations
- Assist with incident and near-miss reporting and investigations
- Help maintain safety documentation and records
- Promote a positive and proactive safety culture on site
- Communicate safety concerns and recommendations to site management
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous construction or safety experience is an asset but not required
- First Aid certification is an asset
- Safety-related training or education is an asset
