We are actively recruiting on behalf of a private female employer with multiple sclerosis and left leg amputee for a casual/back-up Personal Support Worker to assist with all activities of daily living.
The employer watches news for majority of the day
Location:
- Abbotsford (Near Cedar Springs Trail)
Shifts and Hours:
- Casual / Back-up
- Shift hours: 7AM to 9AM, 11AM to 1PM, 5PM to 7PM
Compensation
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Personal care including bed bath, peri care, diaper changing, bowel routine (commode) dressing assistance, medication administration
- Assist with floor lift transfers
- Meal preparation (desirable), eating assistance, monitoring / (Employer hope to prepare and eat meals all together)
- Laundry, vacuuming, dusting, empty dishwasher, cleaning commode etc.
Qualifications:
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum 2 doses)
- No experience necessary – willingness to learn is most important
- 1 to 2 years experience working with elderly desirable
- No Drivers License necessary
