Fed is a food and nutrition company based in Vancouver, BC producing and delivering dietitian designed meals to homes and offices. We are looking for an efficient, dependable, and hard-working Facility Janitor to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a key member of our janitorial team, you’ll ensure our facility runs smoothly and stays spotless by:
- Cleaning, buffing, and polishing floors and hard surfaces.
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
- Performing minor maintenance tasks, such as small electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Ensuring the exterior of the facility and all bay door areas are clean and accessible.
- Assisting with lighting, heating, and ventilation repairs as needed.
- Cleaning and pressure-washing kitchen equipment.
- Managing waste removal, including trash, recycling, and linen bins.
- Cleaning washrooms, tables, equipment, and public or outdoor spaces.
- Maintaining organization and cleanliness in storage areas.
- Supporting inventory and receiving of goods.
- Following all company safety and risk management procedures and reporting any incidents promptly.
- Performing other duties as required to support the facility team.
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience as a janitor in a large warehouse, production, or food service facility.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items.
- Willingness to work flexible or split shifts.
- A proactive attitude — you notice what needs to be done and take initiative.
- Strong sense of teamwork, progress, and service.
