Denise Tulk Desjardins Insurance Agency is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join the team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, supporting a busy office environment, and helping clients feel well taken care of. The successful candidate will play an important role in providing excellent service to clients, supporting day-to-day office operations, and assisting the sales team with client follow-up and appointment booking.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greet clients and provide a welcoming, professional experience
- Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Assist with client policy reviews, policy changes, billing questions, and claims follow-up
- Support the sales team by identifying additional client needs and asking about other lines of business
- Book appointments for clients with the appropriate team member
- Process payments and assist with basic administrative tasks
- Prepare and send thank-you cards and client communications
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Support marketing initiatives and general office duties as needed
- Maintain accurate client records and follow office procedures
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with clients
- Customer service focused with strong communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Reliable and comfortable working in a full-time, in-office role
- Willing to obtain an OTL licence before starting employment
- Comfortable supporting both client service and administrative duties
- Positive, team-oriented, and eager to learn
Previous insurance experience is considered an asset, but strong customer service experience and a willingness to learn are also highly valued.
