SUMMARY
This inter-city position available for Lower Mainland / Fraser Valley. As a Delivery Driver you are accountable to ensure our customer gets the product they expect. Working in partnership with your Maddies peers, you have excellent customer service skills and can effectively manage resolving customer issues as you encounter them. Aligned with Maddies safety record, you value safety in all you do, so you ensure you can manage the demands of the position by following safety instructions and practices off and on the road.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Safely delivering our premium products to our valued customers.
o Utilizing electric pallet jack equipment and hand-bomb when necessary to deliver products to established customer locations.
o With a professional attitude, ensuring the customer receives what they have ordered, including resolving customer issues in partnership with the Maddies team
o Assist in payment collection when required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Operate Automatic & Manual transmission
- Class 1 driver’s license (min 3 years)
- Maintain a clean driver’s abstract
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
TEAM PLAYER
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism with internally and with our customers, even in stressful situations
- Fully proficient in the English language; reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift upto 40 pounds, frequently walk and carry product
