Inside Sales Representative

Our client is a well-established North American distributor of electrical components and cabling solutions, serving a wide range of industrial and commercial customers. Known for their strong customer focus and reliable service, they offer a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where employees can grow their skills and make a direct impact on business success.
As the Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build, develop, and maintain a strong customer base by understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Provide outstanding customer service to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business.
Business Development & Prospecting
- Generate new opportunities through consistent cold calling and outreach efforts.
- Engage a high volume of prospective and existing customers daily to uncover sales opportunities across various industries.
Sales Execution & Account Growth
- Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities to expand product offerings.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts to close deals and achieve sales targets.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Attend client meetings and communicate updates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM tools.
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably within the electrical or industrial sector.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma is considered a strong asset.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of electrical systems or components is an asset.
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to cold call, develop accounts, and negotiate effectively.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
