Overview
We are seeking friendly and efficient Front Counter Staff to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer interactions, handling transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience in the security industry, is preferred but not required. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in locksmithing, cashiering, and customer service while contributing to a positive experience for our customers
Responsibilities
- Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Security sales of hardware/repairs and key cutting
- Upselling items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front counter area
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Assist with maintaining inventory levels and restocking supplies at the counter
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally
Requirements
- Previous experience in the security industry and automotive is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and giving correct change
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
- Key cutting, security hardware sales and repairs
- Experience with hand/power tools and mechanical experience preferrable
- Credit check and ability to obtain locksmith licence 100% required
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
