We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and institutional spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing custodial duties that ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. Prior experience in commercial cleaning is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained facility while working in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards
- Maintain floors through vacuuming, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in designated areas
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Experience
- Custodial experience or prior work in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
