Summary
Join our team as a Dental Hygienist at Shoal Harbour Family Dental or Bonavista Family Dental in Clarenville. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional oral health care and promoting healthy smiles within our community.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care.
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records using our practice management software.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-up.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed.
- Support the overall efficiency of the dental practice.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
- Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license for the province of Newfoundland.
- Proficiency in Tracker dental management software.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of infection control standards and procedures.
- Previous experience in a family or general dental practice is advantageous.
- 40% commission or you can negotiate an hourly wage.
