Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Campground Store Attendant to join our team for the summer season. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain retail and customer service experience in a vibrant outdoor setting. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases at the campground store
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure the store is attractive and well-organized
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and offering helpful information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area throughout shifts
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product organization
- Handle inquiries professionally, providing information or directing calls as needed
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth store operations
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of POS systems and merchandising practices is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Friendly demeanor with strong etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during the summer season, including weekends
