Workforce Inc. is seeking motivated and physically fit Heavy Equipment Operators (Tailings) to support our clients’ mining operations in Kirkland Lake. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of tailings and water management infrastructure. This role involves heavy equipment operation, inspections, dewatering activities, material handling, civil construction support, and environmental monitoring while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers, haul trucks, pumps, generators, and other site equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of tailings management facilities, water management systems, and associated infrastructure.
- Perform tailings deposition and spigotting activities.
- Assist with pipe installation, relocation, maintenance, and dewatering operations.
- Support civil construction projects and material transport activities.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Complete operational monitoring, reporting, and documentation as required.
- Participate in seasonal site maintenance activities, including snow removal and road maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with operations, maintenance, and environmental teams to achieve production and environmental objectives.
- Adhere to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment in mining, construction, civil works, or industrial environments.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in outdoor conditions and varying weather environments.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Class G Driver's License.
- Previous experience in mining operations, tailings management, water management, or process plant operations is considered an asset.
Schedule: 4/3, 10-hour shifts to start, changing to a 7/7 rotation, 12-hour shifts later
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
