GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overseeing a portfolio of rental properties located in Greater Victoria, you will be responsible for relationship development and management with our property owners and tenants, handling day-to-day operational, maintenance, administrative, and financial functions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Must have a Rental Property Management License in BC
- Experience in the Real Estate/Property Management field (2- years direct experience preferred)
- A clear and confident understanding of the rules and regulations of the Real Estate Services Act and Residential Tenancy Act
- Excellent and respectful communication with multiple clients and tenants
THE ROLE:
- Showings of multiple units in a variety of properties within Greater Victoria
- Preparation of all leasing documents and notices
- Organize and manage efficient work order process
- Efficient completion and reporting of all suite inspections
- Ability to efficiently obtain quotes
- Completion of market research to enhance current portfolios
- Negotiate or approve rental or lease of properties on behalf of property owner
- Ensure terms of lease agreements are met
- Prepare and administer contracts for property services, such as maintenance
- Co-ordinate implementation of repairs, maintenance and renovation
- Prepare expense and income reports
- Ensure response to trouble calls from clients or tenants
