Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Restaurant Member to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, assisting with food and beverage orders, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
- Assist with food handling, serving, and other restaurant operations as needed
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
- Support team members to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
Qualifications
- experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation, serving, and upselling
Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
