Located in EPCOR Tower, our centre is new, inviting and located in a vibrant community where educators and children thrive together. We proudly blend Montessori principles, French Language, Art and the play-based approach in a bright, open and warm environment.
We are growing and invite passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our team as substitute/on call candidates that could eventually lead to full time employment. Currently, the role is for on call educators to provide coverage when regular staff are away. Hours are not guaranteed and will be based on program needs. Responsibilities
- Maintain supervision and required ratios
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
- Keep classroom safe, clean and well organized
- Work collaboratively with co-educators
- Lead by example to promote positive behavior, social skills, and emotional regulation among children
- Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families
Qualifications
- Child Development Level 1, 2, or 3
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development theories
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity and promotes equity in learning
- Valid First Aid Certification in Child Care with CPR
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
