Position Summary:
The Social bar & lounge is currently seeking for bartenders and servers. If you are a dynamic, food centric, passionate hospitality professional, this is the dream job for you. We are looking for a experienced and energetic server to join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge and strong execution of all beverages featured in our menus
- Deliver full food and beverage services to guests seated at the bar while offering food and drink pairings
- Promptly and accurately prepare beverage orders for servers and guests, providing drinks for all guests in house
- Helping to maintain a clean and organized bar and lounge
Key Requirements
- Previous serving experience at a highly competent level is required
- Strong technical bartending knowledge including liquor, wine and beer
- Strong ability to lead conversation in any setting
- Highly organized
- Energetic and positive
- Minimum 1 year bartending/server experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Responsible – including but not limited to:
- Guest experience
- Motivating staff – staff incentive programs
- Legislative compliance
- General cleanliness
- General operations – ensuring systems and standards compliance
- Required to be available for all shifts required – opening, closing, mid shifts, weekends
- Legislative certifications preferred – SmartServe, Health & Safety, Food Handling, First Aid
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.60 per hour
Experience:
- serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
