Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, and experience working with low voltage systems. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment efficiently and safely during installation and repair tasks
- Perform maintenance on industrial electrical systems, including low voltage wiring and control panels
- Conduct inspections to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites or industrial facilities to complete projects efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial or construction environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and industrial electrical components
- Prior experience working with construction teams or on large-scale projects is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical documents related to electrical systems is essential
