Dry-Link Construction Ltd., located in Surrey, BC, is currently hiring 2 full-time Drywall Installers to work with their growing team. The candidates must be active, independent, and eager to work as a team.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $36.80 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations(s): Surrey, BC and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company’s contracts with its clients.
Job duties:
- Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings.
- Install drywall sheets and secure them to wooden or metal studs.
- Organize and carry out work procedures for installation and removal.
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.
- Tape the joints using a taping machine and embed tape in the compound.
- Smooth out the excess compound and allow the coat to dry before applying additional layers.
- Install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
- Follow all occupational health and safety procedures on the work site.
Job requirements:
- Completion of secondary school required.
- Completion of an Apprenticeship program in the trade or a Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar trade is required.
- Effective communication skills.
