As a growing company, we value team members who bring initiative, adaptability, and a strong work ethic. We are currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our Display & Apparel division at 560 Marjorie Street.
About the Position:
Shipping
- Ship all orders daily as they are completed through production
- Coordinate with delivery drivers for local deliveries
- Prepare orders for customer pickup and provide assistance at the pickup counter
Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments at the loading door
- Verify packing lists against purchase orders to confirm accuracy
- Enter received materials into inventory
- Assist the production team by moving materials into storage racks
Inventory
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records
- Perform regular cycle counts
- Assist with ordering materials as needed
Other Duties:
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organization
- Monitor and restock cleaning and bathroom supplies
- Assist with hot cutting, grommeting, installation, and packaging of display orders
- Operate or assist with equipment such as heat presses, laser cutters, etc.
- Provide support to Customer Service when required
Applicant must have the following qualifications.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast‑paced production environment
- Ability to safely lift and handle rolls up to 70 lbs
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and maneuver pallets weighing up to 1,500 lbs
- Ability to operate a forklift (certification an asset; training can be provided)
- Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience in a Shipper/Receiver position
