Job Description:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including unpacking, packing, and repetitively lifting heavy items up to 60 lbs. The role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient handling and movement of goods, supporting the overall operation of the warehouse.
Pay Range: $150.00 - $200.00 per day
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Unpack and sort incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
-Pack and prepare items for distribution or storage according to company standards.
-Repetitively lift, carry, and move heavy items up to 60 lbs throughout the shift.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
-Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
-Assist with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies when needed.
-Operate warehouse equipment safely, if required and trained.
-Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
Job Requirements:
-Access to a reliable vehicle for commuting to and from the job site in Delta, BC
-Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly (up to 60 lbs)
-Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
-Good communication and teamwork skills
-Willingness to learn and complete a provided training program
-Availability for full-time hours and immediate start
-Previous warehouse or manual labor experience is an asset but not required
