We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber/ plumbing apprentice / plumbing subcontractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work effectively.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to ensure job site efficiency.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with construction teams, HVAC technicians, and carpenters to coordinate work efforts.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for project documentation and future reference.
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems, HVAC, and schematics reading.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with carpentry and construction practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques to handle materials safely.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to plumbing installation and repair.
- Valid commercial driving license is advantageous for transportation between job sites.
