Purpose
Access Control Attendants ensure the safe, secure, and efficient entry of all guests and employees into Wet’n’Wild Toronto. This role provides frontline security screening, supports crowd management, and upholds all park access policies to maintain a safe environment for everyone on property.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough bag, item, and identification checks for guests and employees entering the park.
- Enforce all entry-point safety rules, restricted items policies, and security protocols.
- Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a professional, calm, and authoritative presence.
- Observe crowd behavior at entry points and immediately report safety concerns, disturbances, or suspicious activity.
- Respond to access related incidents, emergencies, and service calls in accordance with park procedures.
- Maintain clear communication with Security Supervisors and team members through radio use and incident reporting.
- Support lane setup, flow management, and queue organization to ensure efficient entry operations.
- Complete accurate documentation for incidents, confiscated items, and entry related reports.
- Follow all park policies, procedures, and training standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or necessary to support the Security and Operations departments. Management reserves the right to modify responsibilities based on operational needs (e.g., emergencies, workload changes, staffing levels).
Skills & Abilities
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain composed, courteous, and professional under pressure.
- Ability to multi task and maintain situational awareness in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for delivering clear instructions to guests and employees.
- Ability to de escalate conflict and manage challenging interactions calmly and safely.
- Strong attention to detail during screening procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive, cooperative attitude.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 17 years of age or older.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification an asset.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. This position requires occasional work in or around water, confined spaces-cramped quarters, heights, noise, detergents/chemicals, mechanical hazards, moving objects, fumes/odours, dust, mists, gases, or vibrations. The noise level is generally moderate.
