- Have reliable personal transportation (the nearest bus stop, is approximately a 30 minute walk away in good weather)
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Be willing to complete a practical skills assessment during the recruitment process
What you'll be doing
- Operate and monitor CNC lathe and mill machinery to produce high-quality parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
- Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, and keep your work area clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with your team to safely meet production and quality goals.
- Assist in assembly, or other related tasks to support production workflows.
What you Bring
- Experience with operating CNC Machines or working in a metal manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and techincal drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers an micrometers.
- Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work pieces
- Mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- Experience with quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of hand tools, basic machine shop practices, and safety standards in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Basic excel knowledge
Training & Schedule
All training will take place on the day shift, to ensure that you have the support you need to succeed. After training you'll be assigned one permanent shift - we do not rotate shifts.
Applicants must be flexible and available to work any one of the following shifts and should indicate on the application the preferred shift of interest to be placed on after training is completed.
- Days - Monday to Friday (7 am - 3:30pm)
- Evenings - Sunday to Thursday (3 pm - 11:30 pm)
- Overnights - Sunday to Thursday ( 11pm - 7:30 am)

Pay: $17.50-$20.75 per hour
