Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Asian Cuisine Head Chef who is capable of independently managing all aspects of the kitchen. This role requires strong cooking skills, organization, and the ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute Asian dishes with consistency and quality
- Independently manage daily kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
- Develop or refine menu items when needed
- Ensure efficient workflow and time management during service
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Asian cuisine (Japanese, Chinese, or fusion preferred)
- Ability to run the kitchen independently
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
Preferred:
- Experience as a head chef or kitchen lead
- Basic English communication skills
