What You Will Do:
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Greet, assist, and/or direct patients and visitors entering the centre
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Coordinate scheduling changes and requests
- New and existing patient phone calls
- Taking payments
- Understanding and completing insurance billing processes
- Inventory of office supplies; receive and store ordered supplies
- Receive, sort and distribute mail; prepare mail for sending
- Faxing, uploading, scanning
- Oversee laundry is washed, dried, folded and put away
- Ensure general tidiness of centre
- Daily checklist and end of day balance sheet
- Participate in staff meetings and clinical rounds
- Participate in community events and outreaches
What You Need:
Qualifications:
New graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Experience or education in administration in an outpatient setting is considered an asset
- An appreciation for a holistic approach to health care that emphasizes a whole-person perspective to care
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with other health care professionals
- Graduation from an accredited administrative course is considered an asset
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
