Program Coordinator
Manpower is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our Red Deer Workforce Development Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing overall coordination of activities, administration, reporting, and customer service to program participants.
As a Program Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Oversee daily input of all client and referral information into the Government Reporting System
- Conduct program pre-qualification interviews and file information into client files
- Market and promote the program for intake purposes
- Ensure all documentation in client files is entered accurately into the Government’s client management system and that all procedures necessary for accurate government records management are followed, adhering to FOIP policies
- Provide job search guidance and support to clients
- Provide updated Ministry information for reporting and accurate invoicing purposes
- Facilitate workshops on employability skills and job matching support to clients
- Attend daily team meetings and other meetings as required
- Attend mandatory training sessions through the Alberta Government
- Adhere to and comply with all corporate standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Demonstrated skill and experience in cold/warm calling, networking, and relationship building
- Experience with Mobius is considered an asset
- Results-focused and able to meet deadlines

- Client-focused and able to manage client concerns and needs with initiative
- Strong commitment and desire to help others reach their goals with genuine concern for their wellbeing
- Ability to exercise independent decision-making by applying professional standards to personal judgment and objectivity when dealing with clients, employers, and community partners
- Clear, concise, and fluent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and facilitate procedure
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge and interpretation of the labour market
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Creativity to maximize opportunities
- Proficiency with MS Office
