Job Synopsis
The Indigenous Neighbours Engagement Associate is a full-time role within MCC Ontario’s Indigenous Neighbours Program, focused on fostering meaningful, action-oriented engagement between MCC supporters and Indigenous partners. Guided by MCC Ontario’s five-year strategic plan and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, the Associate supports learning, relationship-building, and collective action that contribute to transformed hearts, strengthened relationships, and systemic change. Working collaboratively with Indigenous partners, faith communities, and young adults, the role helps equip supporters to move from listening to action in ways that promote justice, reconciliation, and mutual trust.
This is a 13 month contract role

MCC supports activities that provide emergency assistance, reduce poverty, and promote healthy communities, sustainable living and alternatives to violence. As an internationally recognized NGO, MCC currently serves in more than 45 countries with over 475 partners, 1,000 staff and 40,000 volunteers.
Additional Details:
This role is based in Kitchener, Ontario. This is a hybrid role, with minimum 2 days/week in the office at 50 Kent Ave.
Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada for the duration of their employment. Successful candidates will be required to provide a Police Background Check upon hire.
