Job Description
Long established trucking company is looking for professional Class 1 Company drivers and Owner Operators for Super B Train Flat deck and dry bulk pneumatic work based on Vancouver Island.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre and post and in route trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, roadworthiness and regulatory compliance
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation load securement (strapping, chaining, tarping), driver's hours of service and occupational healthy and safety
- Record, Maintain and Check all relevant paperwork (i.e. Bill of Lading) and documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate
- Must be able to haul 63,500 LBS and the ability to adapt to all weather and road conditions
Qualifications
- Class 1 Driver License
- Flat deck driving experience (Super B Train) minimum 2 years experience with relatively claim free abstract within 3 years
- Pneumatic bulk hauling experience
- Always conducts themselves with a professional demeanor to protect an appropriate corporate image in all dealings with customers and the general public
- Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
