Looking only for Someone with Experience in Logistics and Transportation. Must know and have experience with the following.
- TRUCKING
- Invoicing
- Bill of Lading
- Trip envelopes
- Driver's and Owner Operator Payroll
- Vendor payments
- Knowledge of Fleet Manager Software (Transplus) and Quickbooks Online
We are looking for an immediate hire.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RECEIVABLE
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform all day to day accounting functions including accounts receivable and payable
- Daily billing i.e. send invoices and POD's to customers
- Need to make Driver's and Owner Operators payroll on weekly basis
- Maintain files for all accounting records
- Collection calls
- Approving Carrier and Vendor invoices for payment
- Following up on any discrepancies with rates or other charges
- Issuing payments to carriers
- Keeping the AP aging current – timely follow-up and resolution
- Updating and maintaining files and database records
- Mailing payments, arranging wire transfers or processing fuel card payment
- Responding to inquiries from carriers
- Problem solving for any issues that may arise
- All related filing and record keeping
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic accounting knowledge required
- Knowledge of Fleet Manager Software(Transplus) will be an asset
- 1+ years of related accounts payable/receivable experience preferred. Must be detail oriented.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while maintaining a fast, steady work pace
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills
- Effective planning and organization
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Honest and trustworthy, respectful and accountable

Pay: $35,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
