Our office is looking for a Full Time Senior Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities:
- Efficiently work on compilation engagement assignments in a timely and efficient manner for a variety of business industries
- Effectively complete tax assignments including preparation of tax returns (T1, T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met
- Build strong working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests in a timely manner
- Other related duties as required

Your experience and education
- Charted Professional Accountant designation preferred
- Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Accounting or Business
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in an accounting role within Canada
- Previous experience with accounting programs including Caseware, Caseview, and TaxPrep
- Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Suite programs
- Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
- You can prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks with keeping an awareness of deadlines critical to client service.
