Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Cabinet Installer to install and fit custom and pre-manufactured cabinetry, millwork, and architectural wood components in residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will interpret plans, perform precise measurements, modify materials on-site, and complete high quality finish carpentry installations
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit wood materials and millwork components on-site.
- Install custom and pre-manufactured cabinets, wardrobes, trim, and architectural millwork.
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, level, secure, and install cabinetry and wood fixtures.
- Modify and adjust cabinets, fillers, panels, and trim for accurate fitting and finishing.
- Install and adjust doors, drawers, hinges, handles, and hardware components.
- Perform finish carpentry work around walls, ceilings, flooring, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
- Inspect completed installations to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
- Communicate with contractors, clients, and other trades during project completion.
- Complete repairs, service calls, touch-ups, and adjustments when required.
Qualifications
- Experience in finish carpentry, cabinet installation, or architectural millwork installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Proficiency with carpentry hand tools and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and precision workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
