Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Automotive Apprentice to join our dealership team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, providing a valuable foundation for a career in the automotive industry. Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs and assembly work
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and components
- Conduct routine inspections and identify mechanical issues requiring attention
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for parts and equipment handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support vehicle assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting processes
- Learn to interpret technical diagrams and schematics for various automotive systems
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair needs and progress
Experience
- Previous dealership experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair, mechanical systems, or maintenance is preferred
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous
- Experience with schematics, assembly, or working with vehicle diagnostics is beneficial
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new skills in automotive repair
- Prior experience in customer service or team-oriented environments is desirable
