We are an independent optometry clinic in the Kerrisdale neighborhood seeking for a Licensed Optician to join our team.
Our clinic will be focus on Myopia Management and Vision therapy and our goal is to be the best team in Vancouver. Training will be provided with the right candidate.
The right candidate should have the following characteristics:
- Able to show their care to our patients in a cheerful and positive attitude
- Passionate about the eye care and eyewear industry
- Previous optical experience and/or optician license is required
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a great asset but English is a MUST
- Excited by a fast-paced work environment
- Motivated to establish a career in this field, and willing to grow with the team

What you will be responsible for:
- Day to day operations of the dispensary
- Placing lab orders and inspecting jobs
- Repairing and adjusting glasses
- Ensure retail areas are tidy at all times
- Assist patients in looking for the perfect pair of glasses
- Comfortable explaining eyewear prescription with patients
- Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge about frames and lenses.
Salary is based on experience, and extended health benefits offered after 3 months of employment.
