Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
- Cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as seasoning dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards
Skills:
- Experience working in a kitchen or food service environment
- Proficient in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of cooking methods and techniques
- Ability to handle and cook food safely
- Familiarity with restaurant kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Willingness to assist with various meal preparation tasks
- Interest in the food industry and willingness to learn and help as needed
