We are currently hiring individuals to join our Food & Beverage team in the position of Host/Jr Server for our 2026 season. The Food and Beverage Host is responsible for welcoming guests to the establishment, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in the dining area. They play a key role in creating a positive first impression and maintaining customer satisfaction. The host will also occasionally support as a food runner, ensuring food and drinks are delivered to the guest in a timely manner, supporting their peers in providing a memorable guest experience.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival.
· Manage the seating of guests, taking into consideration reservations and table availability.
· Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials.
- Maintain clean service areas.
- Support by delivering food and drinks to tables.
- Clear tables of dirty dishes, cutlery and glassware.
- Handle phone inquiries and online reservations.
· Maintain an organized reservation book and update the seating chart.
· Confirm reservations and manage waitlists efficiently.
- Effectively communicate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a smooth flow of service.
· Relay special requests and dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
- Assist with billing and processing payments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is often preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to understand and use a Point of Sale (POS) system (Lightspeed an asset)
- Capable of working both individually and alongside other team members
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and assist in F & B operations.
- Proven ability to handle guest challenges effectively, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
- Smart Serve Certification is recommended.
- Experience in the golf industry is an asset.
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred.
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion and work in a fast-paced environment.
· The ability to work a varied, flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

Compensation: $17.60 per hour, plus gratuities
