Job Overview
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring excellent service, and maintaining smooth operations at the front of the house. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage guest seating arrangements efficiently
- Take and process orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and specials
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained throughout service
- Assist in food handling, serving, and basic food preparation when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations
- Address guest inquiries promptly and resolve any concerns professionally
- Support team members in coordinating service flow for a seamless guest experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and food handling practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Experience with serving, upselling, and cashiering is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
