Shift hours consist of: 5pm - 9pm. On occasion there may be a shift of 4pm - Close.
You must be able to commit to the Contract specifications:
Contract will run from approximately June up to and including Labor Day weekend (September 7th 2026)
This is a new position
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and service of beverages at tables or at the bar for the guests
- Operation of the Cash register, i.e., obtaining the till and keys from the office, opening, and closing of the bar, responsible for table service along with the cleaning of the tables after use. Cash exchange, locking up the cabinets and coolers after the evening shift. Also, one is required to ring off the cash register.
- Stocking of the bar i.e., fruit, juices, alcohol, beer, wine, pop, and confectionery supplies. This is all done at the beginning of the shift.
- Cleaning of the bar i.e., back of bar – mopping, cleaning of receptacles for beer/pop, coolers, juice containers. Vacuuming, cleaning of mirrors, windows and dusting the plants are also required on a daily basis.
- Working closely with other bartenders and stewards in the dining room during the meal hours.
Job Specification:
- Background in hospitality industry (bar) is an asset.
- Conscientious, takes own initiative, quick to learn, to be quick on your feet, and move with assurance.
- Previous cash handling and computer experience.
- Well groomed, warm, and friendly with experience supervising employees.
- Good guest relations and knowledge of the Resort.
- May be required to work elsewhere on the Resort if needed.
- Must be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Working Conditions:
- Walk and stand for the duration of shifts.
- Lift and carry trays up to 25 lbs unassisted.
