The Career Foundation is currently seeking Full-Time Commercial & Residential Cleaners on behalf of one of our employer partners.
Job Title: Commercial & Residential Cleaner
Job Purpose Summary:
Provide high-quality commercial and residential cleaning services at client locations across the GTA. The role includes interior cleaning, seasonal exterior cleaning, and general property maintenance while ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to workplace health and safety standards. This position requires a Valid G license and the ability to travel to client locations.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform commercial and residential cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, and general housekeeping duties
- Complete exterior cleaning duties, including eavestrough (gutter) cleaning and other seasonal property maintenance tasks
- Safely operate cleaning equipment, tools, and cleaning products in accordance with company procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Travel between multiple client locations across the Greater Toronto Area as required
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to complete assigned cleaning projects
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Expectations:
- Previous commercial or residential cleaning experience is considered an asset
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with the ability to drive between multiple client locations is required
- Physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Working at Heights Certificate is considered an asset
Term: Full-Time – Permanent
Salary Range: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Job Location: Markham / Vaughan (In Person)
Working Conditions & Equipment Used:
The employee will work at various commercial and residential client locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Duties require frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
The employee will be required to safely operate cleaning equipment, hand tools, ladders, and cleaning products while following all health and safety procedures.
