Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Screen Print Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed apparel. This role requires mechanical aptitude, familiarity with printing processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, and knowledge of packaging and machining are considered valuable assets. The Screen Print Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely production of printed materials while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate screen printing machinery according to job specifications
- Prepare screens, inks, and other materials required for printing processes
- Monitor printing operations to ensure quality and consistency of prints
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management, including packaging finished goods for shipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machining is a plus
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to operate industrial printing equipment safely and efficiently
- Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy setting
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety protocols
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required
