Job Summary
As a Milk Pasteurizer Operator, your primary responsibility is to operate and monitor milk pasteurization equipment to ensure the safe and efficient processing of milk and dairy products. You will be responsible for adhering to quality and safety standards, conducting routine equipment maintenance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor milk pasteurization equipment according to established procedures.
- Set and adjust machine controls to regulate factors such as temperature, pressure, and flow rate.
- Conduct regular quality checks on incoming raw milk and finished products.
- Monitor and record data related to temperature, pressure, and processing times. Implement corrective actions when deviations from standards are identified.
- Clean and sanitize pasteurization equipment regularly to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
- Perform routine maintenance on pasteurization equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of pasteurization processes, quality checks, and equipment maintenance.
Qualification:
- 2+ years dairy, pharmaceutical or liquid fill industry manufacturing experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in dairy processing is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), including excellent sanitary habits and possess knowledge of HACCP and HTST pasteurizing systems as applied to a dairy processing plant
Days and hours of work:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (10:00 pm - 6:00 am)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
