Wise Way Security is looking for 5 full time Uniformed Guards.
Wise Way Security is looking for guards to be part of our growing team in the Courtenay. You will be part of a team working to control visitors and protect property in a retail environment. Your role will be to support other team members and watch for suspicious activity and report to Management. Knowledge of CCTV monitoring would be an asset.
Training is available.
Shifts are Scheduled morning to afternoon or afternoon to evening.
0900-1730 with a half hour lunch break and two 15 minute breaks.
1145-2015 with a half hour lunch break and two 15 minute breaks.
1400-2230 with a half hour lunch break and two 15 minute breaks.
Sites vary from a absolute "no touch" working environment to other environments that require some degree of physical contact. We believe safety is the first goal of any situation and expect staff to assess their surroundings and call for back up before making any decisions. You are expected to be able to write comprehensive reports, deal with customers in a respectful manner, and have appropriate language skills to de escalate any situation that may occur.
Your main function will be to observe recover and report.
You must own a valid Security Guard Licence.

Salary: $18.50-$21.00 per hour

All employees are required to follow the mandate as directed by the Health Authority and follow the guidelines of Management including all policies and procedure of Wise Way Security. Masks, gloves, hand sanitation stations.
