We are hiring a Relief Pharmacist for a non-retail specialty pharmacy in Burnaby, British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists seeking a structured, low-stress pharmacy environment with predictable weekday hours and strong work-life balance.
This assignment starts ASAP for an initial 1-month contract, with strong potential for ongoing extensions.
Job Summary
Role: Relief Pharmacist
Location: Burnaby, BC
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Term: 1 month + ongoing extensions possible
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Break: 30-minute unpaid break
Compensation: $60 per hour
Environment: Specialty / Non-retail Pharmacy
Responsibilities
- Verify and check specialty prescriptions
- Ensure prescription accuracy and workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff in a structured dispensing environment
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy standards and procedures
- Prioritize assigned tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in British Columbia
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a focused, accuracy-driven environment
- Comfortable working in a non-retail specialty pharmacy setting
- Previous specialty pharmacy experience is an asset
