Pay: $65.00–$68.00 per hour
Additional compensation may be considered based on certifications, leadership experience, and specialized technical expertise.

What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll be part of a team handling a wide mix of work across commercial, refrigeration, and marine systems. No two days look exactly the same, and that’s part of what keeps it interesting.
Commercial Mechanical Systems:
- Boilers
- Chillers
- Cooling towers
- Hydronic heating systems
- Rooftop units
- Heat pumps
- VRF systems
- Building automation and HVAC controls
Commercial & Cold Storage Refrigeration:
- Walk-in coolers and freezers
- Reach-in systems
- Ice machines
- Restaurant refrigeration
- Rack systems
- Large evaporators and condensers
- Compressor systems
- Cold storage doors and hardware
Marine HVAC & Refrigeration:
- Yacht air conditioning systems
- Marine refrigeration systems
- Pumps and controls
- Ice machines
- Coolers and refrigeration equipment
What the Role Looks Like
This is a hands-on role with a bit of leadership mixed in. You’ll be out in the field doing service, installs, and troubleshooting, while also helping guide apprentices and supporting the team when needed.
Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems
- Servicing and troubleshooting refrigeration equipment
- Working on marine systems when required
- Coordinating with other technicians and apprentices
- Reviewing job details and scopes
- Keeping safety top of mind on every job
- Building solid relationships with clients
What We’re Looking For
- Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic (required)
- 5–10+ years of experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Class B Gas Fitter (asset)
- Class A Gas Fitter (asset)
- Chiller experience (asset)
- Marine HVAC experience (asset)
