Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Perform order picking and order fulfillment to ensure accurate shipment processing
- Manage shipping & receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
- Utilize warehouse management systems like AS400 for inventory tracking and documentation
- Conduct packaging of products for shipment while maintaining quality standards
- Assist in load & unload operations, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage
- Support manufacturing processes by providing necessary materials and components
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience is highly preferred, especially in warehouse distribution or manufacturing settings
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, cranes, or reach trucks is essential
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance is a plus
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking and packaging processes
- Construction or related experience involving load & unload activities can be beneficial
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining safety standards
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per week
